Tanja comes from a background as Manager of Policy Analysis at FORA (a research and analysis unit belonging to the Danish Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs) where she worked as project manager on projects such as the Danish contribution to OECD’s Innovation Strategy 2010.

Tanja have now started her own company Novitas Innovation where focus is on advising companies about sustainable innovation on topics such as choice of materials, the possibility of marketing themselves by telling the ”good story”, by obtaining environmental certifications, or the possibility of developing green business models. Tanja assists companies from the ideation and conceptualisation stage, to the strategic level.


Moreover, Tanja is the cofounder of KISS Materials where she acts as a consulant on the use of sustainable building materials and products and is in the process of developing a web-based portal to market sustainable building materials and products.


Furthermore, she continuously develops new projects, with a range of different partners, where focus is on CSR innovation and user driven innovation.
